Person-centered psychotherapy (PCP)
Person-centered psychotherapy is accepted worldwide. As a talk therapy ist is not tied to techniques or guidelines. It has nothing to do with the famous “couch of Sigmund Freud”, the person-centered approach provides an active conversation in a face-to-face setting. Your personal resources and skills - you - have the key to positive change, we will find it.
For psychotherapist there are certain professional duties regulated by law, which I must and want to comply with. Confidentiality comes ahead of everything. It is particularly important to me, that I treat all therapy-relevant information with the utmost discretion and maintain secrecy in every conceivable case. This is protected by a court prohibition of interrogation, also your relatives or heirs can never release me from secrecy.
Reason for psychotherapy
Therapy is helpful, when you can no longer cope on your own. The earlier you start your psychotherapy, the sooner you get well again. There does not always have to be an emotional strain present to take a few hours of therapy (preventative).
First interview & schedule planning
The first consultation takes 90 minutes. We will plan your individual treatment and agree on important therapeutic conditions.
Duration of a therapy
How long a psychotherapy takes is individual, it cannot be generally determined. Based on experience, problems develop slowly and therefore need some time to be solved.
Short-term therapy: ca. 3 months.
Average minimum therapy duration: 8 to 10 months, but usually longer.
Long-term therapy: ca. 1.5 to 4 years (partial reimbursement by your health insurance is possible).
Self-payer plus partial reimbursement
Most health insurance companies will refund you 28€/session. The first 10 sessions will only be refunded, if you obtain a medical(!) confirmation before the second session.
