Causes of a crisis
Any change in life circumstances, whether unexpected or planned, can trigger an emotional crisis. Possible triggers could be:
- moving out of the family home
- sudden termination of work
- diagnosis “Cancer” or “Myocardial infarction”
- death of a loved one – human or animal
- Accident or victim of a crime
In case of shock and trauma, help should be sought as soon as possible.
Immediate help in case of an emergency
No one needs to go through crises alone!
Therapy sessions at a high-frequent time interval are intended to give you structure and a better stability to overcome the crisis.
To treat acute cases 10 to 12 sessions are necessary and helpful. The first 7 sessions take place within 7 to 10 days. After that, the time interval between sessions will be slowly increased.
Subsequent therapy with weekly sessions, at least for a few months.
